The second album “Inherent” from the DAVOLA project

“Hey all. Been really quiet on here as of late due to a lot of work on many projects but I’m very happy to announce that my second album “INHERENT” from the Davola project is now available for download via this link below.

To those who don’t know, this is a record that has been almost 10 years in the making and it’s without a doubt, the next step in the evolution of the Davola project. It takes all the frantic intensity and heaviness of the debut album “Dichotomy” but this time around, I wanted to add more “color” within the framework if that makes sense. There’s a lot more influence outside the metal genre on this record but without compromising the integrity of the sound I’ve begun to build. I took some more risks with this one. It’s much much darker in my opinion and flirts with melody more. I was reluctant to incorporate more melody but ultimately, it’s a color to paint with when it calls for it and the songs are stronger with it. Lyrically it delves deeper into the topic of unconsciousness (in the sense of being controlled by one’s own thoughts in other words) and each song is an observation taken from different personal stories both from myself and others I’ve encountered in my life to date. The diversity in the music serves to accentuate those different stories and perspectives. That was the goal at least. You be the judge.

To those interested in physical copies of the album, a short run of CD’s will be printed and available via Cdbaby and my own personal website once it’s up and running.

Meantime, A lyric video for the first single “Chains” has been released via youtube. Feel free to check it out to get a feel for the record.

Tour dates are coming soon. Stay tuned and thank you so so much for your support of this crazy dream of mine. This exists because of You!

In gratitude” – Aaron
