One of the world’s most respected extreme metal gatherings, MARYLAND DEATHFEST XXI, returns for its 21st edition on May 21–24, 2026 in Baltimore, Maryland, with an additional Pre-Fest Show on May 20.

Known for assembling one of the most diverse and brutal lineups in extreme music, MARYLAND DEATHFEST continues its legacy by bringing together legendary acts, cult underground forces, and exclusive anniversary performances across multiple stages.

Festival Area & On-Site Information

Maryland Deathfest XXI will utilize five stages in one centralized area, allowing easy movement between performances without long walking distances.

Festival Stages:

Market Place:
Located just across the street from Power Plant and in front of Soundstage, this open-air stage will host performances alongside expanded drink specials, food vendors, and additional festival activities.

Power Plant Live!:
A covered in-house stage featuring a translucent canopy for weather protection. This area also includes multiple dining and beverage options.

Nevermore Hall:
Formerly RamsHead, this indoor multi-level venue is located inside the Power Plant complex.

Soundstage:
An indoor venue situated on Market Place, directly across from Power Plant, offering close proximity between stages.

Angel’s Rock Bar:
Located upstairs within the Power Plant complex, this smaller indoor venue is accessible with the same day’s festival ticket.

Parking Information:

Convenient parking options include:

• Harbor Park Garage — 55 Market Place (enter from Lombard St)
• Parkway-Lockwood Place Garage — 124 Market Place (enter from Lombard St or Gay St)

Merchandise & Vendors:

The official merchandise tent for both festival and band merch has been relocated to Water St (same location as independent merch vendors).
