HEART OF WINTER FEST 2027 – Three Days of Black, Death, Doom & Avant-Garde Metal in Richmond, VA

After returning from a decades-long hibernation in January 2026 with a weekend of sold-out shows and pure underground energy, HEART OF WINTER FEST returns to Richmond, Virginia, for another three-day descent into the grim and the glorious.

HEART OF WINTER FEST 2027 will take place January 14–16, 2027 at The National in Richmond, bringing together established underground acts and rising names from the worlds of Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal and Avant-Garde Metal.

The festival promises three days of extreme music, underground art, vendors, band merchandise and a community-driven atmosphere dedicated to keeping the underground alive.
