BRUTAL ASSAULT 2027 - first annoucements for anniversary edition

Czech festival BRUTAL ASSAULT will celebrate 30 years of its existence in 2027. The organisers just annonuced a big batch of bands that will play on this special edtion and as usual they represent various subgenres of our favourite music.

THE SISTERS OF MERCY finally could not make it to this years edition, so they will be one of the main acts next year along with MERCYFUL FATE and reactivated CHILDREN OF BODOM. There are over 30 bands added to the bill too and among them are death metal acts like AZARTH, BENEDICTION, CARCASS, DISMEMBER, GRUESOME or HYPOCRISY. Black metal will feature BELPHEGOR, EMPEROR or MGŁA, while Thrash DESTRUCTION or SUICIDAL ANGELS. There will be special shows by JOHN BUSH who will play ANTHRAX songs from the era when he was the member and by TOWARDS THE SINISTER – newly formed band by former MY DYING BRIDE members who plan to play songs from band’s first four albums till “Like Gods Of The Sun”. The festival takes place on the grounds of Josefov Fortress in the city called Jaromer. It starts with the warm-up day on 3rd August and will last the next full four days on 4 stages. Tickets for all days (including warm-up day) cost 219 Euro (e-ticket valid till end of December or until the batch runs out).

Apart from the tent area, there will also be options to sleep in various hotels or dormitories in the neighbouring cities. The price for that also includes the possibility of free transportation to the event (1x daily back and forth), but it will be announced later on.

He currently resides in Krosno, Poland, although he originally hails from Iwonicz. His passions are varied, with a deep love for music, films, books, traveling, and spending quality time with good company. When it comes to music, his tastes are extensive, ranging from Thrash, Doom, Death, and Black Metal to Progressive Rock/Metal and Classic Rock 'N' Roll, especially Aerosmith which is the band that started it all.
