CRETURA (Norway) sign with Wormholedeath

Symphonic extreme metal act Cretura (Norway) just signed a worldwide deal with Wormholedeath for the release of their astonishing album titled “Fall of the Seventh Golden Star”.

To celebrate this great event the band have prepared a full song preview on youtube.

The Band stated:
“We are proud to join forces with a record label such as WormHoleDeath. After years of hard work we are grateful to see that our efforts are paying off, and that we’re not only working with a label that understands our genre and visions, but also a label Manager that understands and embraces us as people. Meeting Carlo in Italy during the recording of our new album was a blast, and we got to know a man that has a genuine love of music and a sharp eye for business. The level is set and we are eager to crush heads!”

About the new album:
“We’re proud to announce the 2016 release of our first ever full length album. An album with a strong concept: both lyrically, musically and visually. Where everything and nothing is being left for the imagination. We all poured a piece of our heart and soul into the making of this album. With over a year worth of work and striving to compose songs we created 11 tracks which contains everything from beautiful vocals, extreme riffing, complex orchestration and screaming guitar solos. «Fall Of The Seventh Golden Star» tells an epic tale about the end of humanity. A tale where both historical, philosophical and religious events are contorted in different ways to reflect the ongoing cycle of human behavior and what ultimately causes our moral and ethical way of thinking to become oppressed and thrown away while our souls slowly decay. This album will set the bar for our future growth and we are looking forward to share it with you very soon!”

Biography:
Cretura is a six-piece symphonic metal band from Bergen, Norway. The band consists of Markus Pettersen (guitars, vocals), Marius Toen (guitars), Jørgen Beijer (bass, vocals), Michael Sveri (drums), Kine-Lise Sæthre (keyboards) and Sárá Márjá Guttorm (vocals). The band was formed in 2010.
Our music is symphonic with many horror elements such as the melodies, musical arrangements and lyrics. The music varies from the melodic parts with female vocals and the heavier parts with the rough growls of Markus. We find inspiration in bands such as Nightwish, Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, and also from classical composers such as Edvard Grieg. Our music can best be described as it being dead and alive at the same time. We have played many concerts around and outside of Bergen our hometown. In Bergen we have played in places such as Garage during the Emergenza festival and Kvarteret during the Eggstock Festival, both festivals being for unlabelled bands. From 6.-8. Of March 2014 we also had a co-headliner tour with another Norwegian band called Art of Deception we played in Stavanger, Haugesund and Bergen, all in the west coast of Norway.
These days we are working on two things; new material and a tour in Germany from the 10th to the 21st of december 2014 as a support band for Six Feet Under. Later on we are currently in contact with a band named Agarthi about other potential tours. The new material we’re working on is thought to be our next album. Previously we have released two minor albums called Monsters in Wonderland (2012) and When The Dead Goes To Dance (2013).
