WALTARI to celebrate 30 years since the release of „Yeah! Yeah! Die! Die! Death Metal Symphony In Deep C” album on BRUTAL ASSAULT

Finnish band WALTARI will play a special set on this year’s Brutal Assault in Josefov Fortress. It will be completely devoted to album called „Yeah! Yeah! Die! Die! Death Metal Symphony In Deep C” which was a big breakthrough thanks to its brave mixture of death metal with symphonic music and operatic vocals. The album also starred Tomi Koivusaari from AMORPHIS doing growls, who will also appear on that show. According to press materials, it will be the only concert of this kind as it will feature Bohemian Symphony Orchestra from Prague.

“It will be a tribute to the courage, creativity, and unbreakable spirit of a band that was never afraid to go against the grain and ignore the established rules of the music business” says Tomáš Fiala on behalf of the Brutal Assault organizing team. “From a logistical and sonic standpoint, it is a massive challenge, but we are convinced that this masterpiece absolutely deserves a celebration on such a grand scale.”

The festival takes place on the grounds of Josefov Fortress in the city called Jaromer. It starts with the warm-up day on 4th August and will last the another full four days on 4 stages. Tickets for all days (including warm-up day) cost 206,66 Euro (e-ticket valid till end of March or until the batch runs out). There are also tickets available for the youngest children (up to 12 y.o.), other for older ones (13-18 y.o.).

Apart from the tent area, there are also options to sleep in various hotels or dormitories in the neighbouring cities. The price for that also includes the possibility of free transportation to the event (1x daily back and forth).

Organisers also added an option to officially exchange the tickets for the festival, additional zones or hotel options – this is yet to be opened closer to the festival date.
