Cathedral – Seventh Rising. What more can be said about Cathedral other then they are proudly carying the torch for the style of metal that was created by the Gods Black Sabbath. The bands line up of Lee Dorrian (Vox), Garry Jennings (Guitar), Leo Smee (Bass), and Brian Dixon (Drums) are as strong as ever on this disc. This could very well be the continuation from there last disc THE CARNIVAL BIZARRE. Seventh Rising is as much dark and depressing as any of there past music. It takes you on a dark gloomy ride thru eleven traks that will darken your heart and soul. There is nothing speed or thrash about this disc. It is all low end and powerfull. Songs such as Skullflower are a highlite of the disc along with the other ten trak. Any one familier with there past work will like this disc. It receives a 9 out of 10 on my scale. the trak list is as follows.
Get ready to be treated to a big healping of big rifs and chunky bass lines full of DOOM.
