OMEN – R. I. P., J. D. KIMBALL

In Memory of J.D. Kimball

“Brothers, today we received this message from Kenny Powell. At the moment we really have no words to comment on that, we just send our deepest condolences to the Kimball family and friends. For the world of heavy metal, this is a wound that will never heal, and for all of us, it's the tragic loss of a genuine, passionate artist, a legendary performer and a man of strong heart and feelings, whose inspiration will burn in our hearts like an eternal fire, and whose memory marked our lives permanently.” “J.D. Kimball passed away on Oct.3rd, 2003 after a 3 year battle with cancer. I was informed by his brother Bill Kimball this morning, I had not heard from J.D. in years and was hoping that everything was o.k. with him, I regret that I did not know that he was ill and did not have a chance to speak with him before his passing. I hope that he knew the impact that he had on the heavy world and how many people asked about him everywhere that the band goes. I am very proud of the work that we did together, he influenced a lot of people. He will be missed. I am trying to get an address for everyone to send their comments on J.D. to his family. I will keep you posted. – Kenny”
