MIGHTY MUSIC present festival

Denmark's premier metal label Mighty Music will be hosting a two-day fest in the heart of Copenhagen showcasing international acts from their roster.

Michael H. Andersen, co-founder of Mighty Music…

”The Mighty Music band roster and profile is stronger than ever and the powers behind our label are likewise in a league like never before. This we want to celebrate with a 2-day Mighty Music festival at the Copenhagen rock/metal venue High Voltage in August this year.

At this event we will show the diversity and quality of six of our current bands, hailing from Sweden, Switzerland and Denmark – so yes, this is an international festival – just like the Mighty Music label which always has been proud to be working with artists from all over the world.”

Friday the 22nd of August is the “alternative” day with a more rock’n’roll/hardrock/punk angle to it.

Lou Siffer And The Howling Demons from Sweden are playing bad ass rock’n’roll and will be releasing their new album “At Your Service“ on the 18th of August.

Broadway Killers from Aarhus, Denmark, have finished their European tour supporting Bad Religion. Their new self-titled album is out on the 25th of August.

A Road To Damascus from Copenhagen will headline this evening and at the same time throw a releaseparty for their long awaited new album “In Retrospect“ – out on 1st of September. Check out their brand new video:

Saturday the 23rd is in the extreme end with death/thrash metal and post-hardcore.

Herod from Switzerland who released their album “They Were None” this May with great reviews, e.g. 9/10 in Bleed4metal and in heavy rotation on TotalRock. For fans of Cult Of Luna and The Ocean.

Danish Roarback who released their highly praised album “Echoes Of Pain“ in January, e.g. getting 5/6 in Gaffa (SE), hailing them as the best Death Metal band from Denmark ever!

And finally the young death metal act Aphyxion – from WOA Battle and their Copenhell gig this year – who this evening will have play a release show for their debut album “Earth Entangled“ which will hit the stores on the 1st of September”. Check out their brand new video:
