GRAVE DIGGER „Tunes of War”

GRAVE DIGGER „Tunes of War” - okładka

If I remember well Grave Digger is the first metal band I disliked. I had bought this album back in 1997 and I remember I was very confused and up till now I have the same problem. I really like the music of Grave Digger in this album because it reminds me of the classic heavy metal bands of the 80’s and furthermore they have a strong personal sound that makes them differ from other bands. Musically, this is one of my favorite albums. But I never liked and never will the vocals! They are of the category “Like them or hate them!” that I have with bands like Manilla Road, Brocal Helm etc.

Anyway! “Tunes Of War” is a concept album and if The Scottish had listened to it they might had won the war that Grave Digger describe! Combining their classic heavy metal influences from bands like Saxon, Accept and Judas Priest with the modern power metal sound, Graver Digger managed to release an album that many people love and many people hate it (at least as far as I know).

I would advise you to listen to this album because it is really good and if you like the vocals here be sure this will be a masterpiece for you. If not you will just have some good heavy metal music.
