HOMOIRATUS „Apocalypse”

HOMOIRATUS „Apocalypse” - okładka

Homo Iratus are back with their second full length album after the release of “Knowledge…Their Enemy” EP. I am not the greatest death metal fan and especially of the style that Homo Iratus follow but I can say that I listened to this album with pleasure in contradiction with their debut album that was too much for me.

12 deathcore songs with a very good production is what we have here. Great guitar riffs, a very stable rhythm section and an amazing singer have as a result songs such as “E-Land Phobia”, “Another Daybreak Gone”, “So Many Nulls” and “On Fertile Ground” (a song where some more melodic influences can be found).

I must point out the very good artwork and the production which is of a high standard because this is a self-financed release and the band proved they want to be considered professionals and they deserve to. So, if you are into death metal without many melodies and keyboards then try to listen to “Apocalypse”. It was a nice surprise to me from Greece!
