AFFLICTION GATE „Shattered Ante Mortem Illusions”
I recognize that kind of slaying riffs from my early youth when the heaviest thing I listened to was Seattle scene sounds and that kind of playing was too much then. Now it soothes my ears in a gentle way, if you can say something like that about band that you can place between Decide, Asphyx, Grave or Morgoth.
IDENSITY „Chronicles”
Third band from the French label Send The Wood Music, which album fell into my hands is a quintet Idensity, creating their sounds somewhere at the middle of death metal madness and progression. Parisian metalheads starts adventure with music in 2005, so far dropping two albums LPs – “Serenity” from 2011 and just-reviewed by me the latest production under the title “Chronicles.” I admit that Idensity firstly didn't fit to my taste, but after several hearings I verified my standpoint.

HORD „The Book of Eliot”
Hord is another band from the French label Send The Wood Music, which came to me to listen and review it. After a fruitful meeting with their label mates from Breed Machine, I thought that once again it will be positive music trip and I wasn't wrong.
BREED MACHINE „A laube du huitičme jour”
Band called Breed Machine exists on the French metal scene since 2003, recording to date four LPs, coping quite well they have established their positions in the music market, with a rather small number but loyal and constantly growing group of fans. The band took its name from the song “Future Breed Machine” of math metal legends – Meshuggah and somewhere you can feel the inspiration of Swedish extremists, but musicians have to present a lot more and are not just another copy of this outstanding and even the legendary band.

FALLEN JOY „Inner Supremacy”
France metal music are strong and generally becoming stronger. The local scene is growing at a tremendous rate, plenty of the fantastic black metal bands, the classic and the avant-garde penetrating threads, lots of good hard core and punk crews, excellent progressive metal group Gojira and amazing death metal stuff by Svart Crown.
BLOCKHEADS „This World Is Dead”
Long time I have not heard such a good grindcore act, without unnecessary frills, sterile manufacturing and brazen promotion, just pure grindcore, filthy, uncompromising, without metal influences, racial, growing out from punk tradition. This music offers for us French crew named Blockheads.
SVART CROWN „Profane”
About five years ago, fell into my hands first album of band – Svart Crown – “Ages Of Decay”, so it was my maiden meeting with this French crew. I admit that the first release did not make a colossal impression on me, typically black / death metal music at a decent level, but still wihout big fireworks, I thought to myself.
PENSEES NOCTURNES „Nom d`une Pipe”
Pensees Nocturnes is the third and last band I've reviewed from the French label – Ladlo productions. “Nom d'une Pipe” is currently four album of this one-man project, conducted since 2008 by the nickname – Vaerohn.
WAY TO END „Various Shade Of Black”
Way To End is another proposition from Ladlo productions record label catalog for year 2013, when I recently described a promising debut – Regarde Les Hommes Tomber. Band was formed in year 2006, serving us three years later their first full album – “Desecrated Internal Journey” moreover, very well accepted in metal music society, collecting lots of favorable opinions and reviews.
