To all old school pure metal headbangers: that's it.
I recognize that kind of slaying riffs from my early youth when the heaviest thing I listened to was Seattle scene sounds and that kind of playing was too much then. Now it soothes my ears in a gentle way, if you can say something like that about band that you can place between Decide, Asphyx, Grave or Morgoth.
All those enchanting dark noises, pagan brutality and gloomy lyrics are what I expect when spending some quality time in front of the speakers. When playing this record you can hear booze, long hours in rehearsal rooms, depression and torment. All at once these are served to you with the subtlety of an army boot kicking you in the face.
Hope you will came up with something longer than an EP after Aeon of Nox (From Darkness Comes Liberation).
