DREAMTALE „Oceans Heart”

DREAMTALE „Oceans Heart” - okładka

The metal presented here is of a very heave progressive vibe with a lot of keyboards high lighting the songs with dramatic intros as well as souring highs and lows through out the songs. The guitar sound here is crisp and clean without a lot of crunch but played to precision with a very well and tight woven twin attack. The drum work is clean and of a speed that is running wild in the metal scene these days. I hate to talk in a negative way at any band but let the truth be known. I am getting very tired of fantasy metal with all the kings and queens as well as all the dragons and fairy tale themes. Not to say there is anything wrong with that style of metal but come on it is just getting real old and there is already one RAPSODY in the metal world as well as all the other clones of that style. This is a very talented band and I am in no way taking anything from them but all I hear here is more of the same old cookie cutter metal coming at us these days in the RAPSODY vain. I wish there where more bands out there that would be willing to break out on there own and take the chance to play metal from the soul and stop being a copy cat. I have to give this band a high rating due to talent but when all comes to an end I am only able to give this band a poor rating due to them playing more of the same old same old.
