Cool songs: How To Use A Human Being, Dead World
Profanation is a German band that began in the late 90's and “Dead Man Rotting” is their first independant release. It's pretty much just sick, brutal, Grind. It's sprinkled with movie clips and people being tortured or eaten or some other sick shiiiiaaaatt that I'd rather not know about. There are some groovy bits here and there, but not quite enough to hold my interest. With the exception of “How To Use A Human Being”, which I think is o.k., the cd sounds like one continuous pile of blast beating, gurgling deathgrind. Pretty uninteresting to me and I'll probably not be listening to this again after today.
