ARAFEL comes from Israel but Russian blood flows in the members. And additionally they recorded the material in Poland, in Olsztyn, also by help of Polish musicians.
The music of ARAFEL is deadly Pagan Black Metal, where the quick instrumental parties and the ill-boding scream interlace with the melodious folk's motives. Here the volley of sharp guitars tear the musical space almost unceasingly, and the percussive blasts and the passages give the crushing pace for this horrendous battle, as and the monstrous black metal screams call to the fight. Additionally those warlike hymns have specific for Pagan Metal ornamentation, in style of emphasizing parties of keys and melancholy or folk sounds of string, which here is even quite a lot. Beside of the full of fury and darkness mood here you will also feel many nostalgia, and this by the acoustic guitars, the climatical key accents, or the melodious guitar solos.
The whole is very sharp, mad and crushing with strong folk accent. I would place ARAFEL together with BEHEMOTH, VESANIA and with similar hordes. The album is worthy to listening!
