I do love the French, but they do have a bad habit of releasing some utter bollocks from time to time (or introducing the rest of the world to bands that shouldn’t even have a record deal). All I can say is thank God this was free.
This is supposed to be a sort of showcase for bands to get themselves heard, but after an hour and a quarter of this, you’ll wish you hadn’t heard most of them.
The only bands worth worrying about are Ewigkeit, Kiju and the mighty Severed Savior. Most of this is, I am sorry to say, rubbish. It either sounds so bad that it hurts to listen to it or it’s just plain crap. I am still trying to figure out how Severed Savior found themselves alongside this bunch.
