The Cold View is a music project from Germany, which oscillates in climates like drone / doom metal. If you delight in the old horror films such as: George Romero and Lucio Fulci `s and not affraid of the atmosphere of old cemeteries and darkness you begin to fear that those sounds now.
The first thing, the most important in this music is climate. Climate dark and bad to the bone, yet very depressed, takes us through the most distant corners of the human soul. Loneliness, fear, abandonment and the depth of hell, poured into our skulls, like poison or cruel, wreaking havoc on the body deadly disease.
Monotonous beats, doom metal abyss, all kinds of electronic patents and grave vocals, come down to the music in the areas of disgusting, psychedelic trance, causing uncertainty of what lies in the depths of our minds. The graves are opened slowly, and a thick tarry smell of decomposing bodies hit directly in the nose, preparing us to utter all sorts of madness and melted senses. These sounds are really scary, like a walk through an abandoned cemetery in the middle of the night in winter.
Weeping Winter is actually a concept album based on personal experiences and observations of the nature and impact during the spinning of the material composing the music. Just look at the titles of cd. My personal experience is more direct in the areas of forgotten horror films.
The Cold View is a very personal music, dark with sinister, mysterious atmosphere. If for you is are not foreign the crew`s such as: Sunn O))) and all kinds of funeral doom bands, you should reach for this release. The whole music is indeed on artist bandcamp available for free. Great act, which could also serve as a sound path to a evil and sick sort of horror. Take a few longer moments for this band.
