ENSLAVED is easily Norway’s finest band. This progressive black/Viking metal band is still basically the only group from the original wave of black metal that’s still doing anything this original or interesting. From the early days until the present day, every album is a masterpiece. They truly are giants. It´s time to bring ENSLAVED back to Germany and let them play at PARTY.SAN 2011. Spread the word!
EXHUMED-Excreting their malignant essence onto an unsuspecting Metal scene in 1998 with their confrontational debut full-length, “Gore Metal”, EXHUMED(us) have since become synonymous with the genre they helped brand. Their signature sound, a savage blend of snarling, grinding down-tuned guitars, alternately abrasively screeched and grotesquely gurgled vocals, and pummeling, straightforward drumming, have become universally recognized as the hallmarks of the style now called Gore Metal. To be more precise: EXHUMED(us) are essentially the bastard Californian children of the great Carcass. See them live at PARTY.SAN OA 2011!
