THEE MALADOR KOLLECTIVE are pretty inconvenient, as far as it comes to the band’s name. At the very beginning, they called themselves INQUISITOR, FUNERAL FOG or simply MALADOR, and they played black metal. After some time, the winds of changes blew in their area and they decided to change the style, so that now, it is industrial metal or just avant-garde. What is more, the band’s name also changed to THEE MALADOR KOLLECTIVE (KTM is sometimes revealed as TEXTBOOK OF MODERN KARATE).

‘New Era Viral Order’ brings to memory the golden age of electronic music, as the industrial sounds burst out of this little CD and wrap around one’s neck. The keyboard parts are little pearls, perfectly mastered, creating one of the best possible backgrounds. Their usage is good, the choice of electro-thrills is a jack-pot, and together with the death metal parts, they create an interesting alternative. TMK play with the music, as there is no dominating motif, because the industrial and metal elements strongly overlap, they just dance in an insane whirl of passion. The sounds are chosen carefully, so that everything fits like a glove. What is more, the sounds chop and change, the pace is maybe of the same speed (which is very fast, really), but there are so many motifs, that it is hard to remember everything. Fleshy riffs cooperate with progressive drum fills, and those two elements work well, completing the robotic sound.

The enthusiasts of electro-metal will be satisfied, for this music fits all the tastes. It is vicious, dangerous, mysterious and very crafty. There is no need to think or wonder – just buy this album.
