The Grimoire is one of the most perverted compilation I have ever heard. And the whole thing starts from the beginning, simply from the website. To be honest, I do not want to enclose the link, in order not to be accused of spreading pornographic content. It is enough to mention, that when one enters the Metal Age official site, will be immediately re-directed to a porn site. Not to mention the official site of The Grimoire Of Exalted Deeds no comments.

But from the musical point of view, this compilation is very varied, a rich album. Every metal fan will find here something interesting (unfortunately), from extreme death and thrash metal, to heavy, gothic and industrial metal. Another strength of this album is the choice of material, according to some criteria (known only to the staff, but who cares). And they did it: there is no place for by chance bands. The music is mixed and mastered very well, no underground or garage compositions, which would simply lower the value of the whole. Compositions described as cool songs deserve a special note, because they are the best on this album. They simply create the rich atmosphere and are the only for which this album should be in your hands. The rest is of low quality (content) and after the same fashion.

As every compilation, this is also aimed at a wide area of fans (who often visit Grimoire page). Although the too much extreme death/black motifs dominate the album and centre it at this niche.
