A band that is considered pioneer of progressive death metal. This album is a great thrash metal album with complex arrangements all the way, there are some grooves too that makes this album more exciting than other thrash albums of the time. It is remarkable the work of bass and drums, played with such mastery and technique that set the base for new ways to perform music on prog and technical death metal bands in the 90s. All songs have interesting parts to offer, but it is clear their thrash metal approach. Fans of Slayer & Sepultura 80s era, if you have not listened to this album, you are missing SOMETHING really; In fact, one song of Sepulturas Beneath the Remains (stronger than hate) feature vocals of Kelly Schaffer, guitarist and vocalist of Atheist.
