Music: Rock/Metal
Country: Israel

ZONDA comes from Israel, and on the front of band stands the woman – Yafit Reuveny – guitarist and vocalist together the men – Shai Kalderon – guitarist, Yaniv Kalderon – guitarist, Tomer Salman – bass player and Shealtiel David – drummer. On the disc are the 12 tunes (over 75 minutes of music), and the last of four songs come from a concert. The band comes in regions heavy, gothic, doom, progressive metal and they assembling by the way rock patents. So in principle with the reason of complex arrangements and the melancholy feminine's vocal as well as reigning ubiquitously the nostalgia and the darkness I will boldly qualify them as the band playing the gothic progressive metal. The songs contain the many guitar-vocal's melodies, which are created by the solo parties of guitars, the passages and the harmonies. In the arrangements we also will find quite a lot the acoustic parties, the guitar's effects as well as the stronger hits (which are full of the sharp guitar's riffs and the clunk of bass or the drums, they bring metal's power for the whole). The pace of songs mostly is average-slow, but it is able to oscillate among the very slow, depressive states to the quicker, sharper knocks. The music sounds very nostalgically and enough murkily and first of all very tunefully. The whole brings the associations with some bands staying in similar climates e.g. Italians SYRENS CALL or Polish MOONLIGHT, BATALION D'AMOUR as well as LILITH. The lyrics are binding in English-Hebrew texts and Jewish philosophy are replete, it brings many mysteriousness. Particularly the songs in Hebrew bring in additional the breeze of Minor Asia.
