Giacomo Castellano is Italian virtuoso guitar which has played from his 14 year old. From the beginning his musical career he took part in many musical projects as musician, composer and producer (in many teams from Italy, Germany and Spain). The compositions from album “Cutting Bridges V2.0 Remastered” came into being and evolved by many years (from 1991 till 2003 year). Giacomo invited to co-operation many musicians to recording these works. And masterly fusion of many species of music (from Classic Rock, Hard Rock to Blues, Funk, Jazz until Hip-Hop, Electronic and Ethnic music) is the effect of this co-operation. And therefore this is the music for full-bodied connoisseurs of every virtuosity, however very romantic – melancholy, romantic and dark…
The every of 12 works is different, they have the own climate and emotionality. The majority of works show the varied instrumental subjects obviously (e.g. the guitar serves, the passages and solos – enriched by the complex rhythmical section as well as phrases of keys). The woodwind instruments and the Hammond's organ additionally were used to some compositions and they unroll the palette of instruments yet more. However this is not the end of possibility of Giacomo. It is theoretically the instrumental music but vocal lines were present too. In dependence of work there were Rap's recitations or the gentle singing of Rossella Ruini. The works are very varied and climatic in effect. They portray the many spatial melodies and rhythms. Though the calmer paces overweigh in this music, although you will also find the stronger and more impulsive accents (e.g. “Ariete” with the features of strong Hard Rock and Funk Metal).
The album sounds very coherently despite such swing of arrangements. It is ideal for seekers of musical innovations and mixtures.
