The Roots of MONSTERWORKS reach to New Zealand. The music situated on “M – Theory” is product resultant of many kinds of metal which ones are skillfully mixed. From the outset the strong influences of the melodious thrash/death metal were felt, which have the color of the Swedish sound of death metal. The Swedish sound was really fashionable10 years ago and first of all it created the solid and hard climate. Also arrangements are replenished with typically doom metal motives and black metal patents. Although MONSTERWORKS can surprise us with gentle guitar passages or brutal death metal parties also… The low tuned guitars give to the music very heavy sound and except for cascade strong riffs they let go the quite a lot melody (this associated me with EDGE OF SANITY). The powerful parties of drums master very diverse pace (from very quick and brutal threshing until the very slow and heavy deceleration, which one in connection with keys in the tune “For Glory” remind me doom metal stars from the beginning of 90 years). The very specific sounding vocal underlines the diverse whole. The sound of vocal usually oscillates in high, hoarse parties (this suggested me CORROSION OF CONFORMITY) and has tendencies to pass in the strong powerful growling or the black metal scream as well as to ganging the both vocal sounds. The whole sounds really well.

Really I did not hear so curiously arranged thrash/death metal long ago. The album contains 12 pieces, which go on 40 minutes almost. It is the really valuable and the powerful dose of metal.
