Godmachine is an underground metal band from Greece and this is their second demo release after Promo 2003. The progress the band has been making is more than obvious as everything now is of a more professional standard. They have a very good artwork with a nice front cover and the booklet contains all lyrics as every demo should do. And their new logo is much better than the previous one. Dont change it guys!
Musically, Godmachine are into speed/thrash metal with some heavy parts and if you would like to know some of their influences I think they are Metallica, Testament and Flotsam And Jetsam. Especially the riffs of the band remind me a lot of these of Newsteds band before join Metallica. There are 5 songs here and The devil on your shoulder was in their promo too. They have very good ideas and know how to link them in their songs. I mostly like Demon which is really a great song. I would like to see them live because their music is the appropriate for a live show in my opinion.
It is always good to see a band raising its standards and that what Godmachine have done. If you are into speed/thrash metal or if you search for a good band to listen to when you drink beers then this demo is a very good suggestion to you.
