VORTEX „Hammer Of The North”

Hell yes, Metal bats opened the gates again! Ha, those words are not here by accident: if you are fan of true 80’s heavy metal, then with no doubt you know both cult albums from Dutch Vortex: „Metal Bats” (1985) and „Open The Gate” (1986). So here it is! After rumors, after fantastic live shows Vortex is back! First full lenght studio album after 13 years (compilation CD „The Dawning” was out in 1998 and great vinyl EP „The Mill” in 2000) is out now, and what can I say… It kills, it crush! I was affraid what guys will record, but after intro of the „Riptor” I was sure: this is heavy metal! Loud and proud! Fantastic sizzling guitars, pounding rhythm section and a hellish voice will make you bangin’ like a maniac! If you love classic metal- and actually it doesn’t matter if you are more into epic metal, nwobhm or power metal- then you will just love this piece of steel! Just listen to fantastic „Rise, Shine & Fall”! New hymns of truest heavy metal are now on the air! Guys decided to make a gift to their fans, so except 8 brand new tracks you will also find here 2 unreleased live tracks and 4 tracks from (already rare and cult!) „The Mill” EP.
