This is really makes me sad looking at all these great bands, but without serious attention and still underground. Shining Star is one of these great-underground band.
The quality of this album is pretty high. It shows that this band really got some serious attitude, and aiming to something. Something that you seriously enjoy throughout the album.
Shining Star, is a unique band coming from Brazil, I don't know if this album was their first, you can say that I don't care, coz that album is great piece of art.
Fabio Rocha has an amazing, and unexplainable speed and talent concerning his guitars playing. Rarely a guitarist could fascinated me, coz now, guitars is all about speed, crazy riffs, and energy within the strings…..not for me. Fabio plays fast, with great speed, but not with the senseless speed.
Another amazing musician within this band, is the keyboardist, Dinno. He is one player who really knows his part and plays amazingly on the piano. I should learn playing their songs. He is more than amazing in the whole album, but more “Never Too Late” Him and Fabio are the best to understand each other. You can notice it throughout the album.
Juliano , the drummer, is so professional with a pro- drums kit. I love his playing and his drums' sound. Great drummer!
This album is a mixing the sounds of Symphony X, Savatage, Journey and many other great bands. I fell in love with this album from the very first time I heard it. You should try it to know yourself, why this album as well as the band, is should classified as great.
