Season Of Fear are a Four piece band from Baltimore MD that are hard to discribe. When I first put the disc in it was hard to tell what bands they had for influnces. This six song demo leads you in lots of directions. The vocal work on the disc is strong and comanding with very many elements to it but over all the vocals remind me of ODERUS URUNGUS from GWAR with a little death metal vocals mixed in. Musically the band are not as tight as some I have heard but with a little more work they will be there soon. Driving thrash style guitar'swith the norm on Bass and drums. Not really putting this band down but cant really say much about them for they are not breaking new ground. Take into consideration that this demo was done in 1999 and the the band are due to be putting out more music in the near future. lets hope the new stuff sounds better and with any luck it will.
