This being the first time ever hearing this band I was very impressed and found it hard removing it from my player. Being Into bands such as Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray, Rapsody and other progresive power metal bands this disc will get your attention real quike. The vocal sound is very smooth but yet very powerfull in its presentation. Musically The band blend the epic and progressive metal sound very well with a big helping of power metal. The sound does'nt have to much of one or the other where one takes away from the other. A very well balanced cd.
Inengard has three other discs available other thin this one and I am looking forward to picking them all up ASAP. If you are into the progressive power metal sound that can take you on a journey thru time back to the times of Knights and Queens and you like the influences of the bands listed above then I highly recomend this disc. I give this cd a 9 out of 10. Pick this one up you will not regret it.
