ENSHADOWED „Messanger of the darkest dawn”

Wow, this album is much more in black metal than the second Enshadowed album. It’s important to mention that this is their first album released back in 2002. It gives us 8 songs of hateful black metal, completed with dirty production, mighty vocals, blackish guitars, hissing cymbals.. Inspired by old school, Enshadowed fulfilled this release with speed rhytms, but also with parts of mid tempo in the darkest atmosphere. This time vocals are definitely sung on black “language” and shall we say they sound incredible..?To say it briefly, this is Norwegian school of black metal. Again, it’s inevatible not to say how breath-taking is layout of an album. It’s done in black & white, with all the lyrics printed inside the layer, member photos and pics of massacres, woods, mysteria….On the front cover you can see Jesus crucified upside down.. Production made that special feeling when filthy vocals stay in the same line with powerful drums, racing themselves, with raging guitars that just crushes you down. There are some sound effects as thunder, lightning etc. and it’s done ok. With their mid-tempo song Northbound they have prooved that Greece has new black metal frontleader.
