The metal kings are back again. After several years without studioreleases they strong as always. Just the song titles like “Call to arms”, “Valhalla”, Swords in the wind”, and fight until we die say which we are talking about. Yes it's the selfentitled metal gods from Manowar. Selfcentered as always Manowar are back,. This studio outlet are one of their best albums ever and are one of their most varieted albums also. Amongst other thing, they do an operapiece called “Nessus Dorma” by Giacomo Puccini, where Vocalist Erik Adams delivers his carrier finest achievement, and he's performing on a level where we only can praise him, and it's absolutely without questioning on of the finest vocalist performance ever made by a heavy metal singer. He's in the league with legends as Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford.

“Warriors of the world” shows Manowar in a varieted mood, where your hear big classic epic moments and in-your-face-agressivety. “Valhalla” is a shivering ballad, while “House of death” along with “Fight until we die” are some of the most aggressive songs Manowar has ever made. And the title track “Warriors of the world” are simply a classic sing-a-long with Manowar accompanied by a big chorus and a hookline that will be great at the concerts on their upcoming tour.
