THE END OF MELANCHOLY to alternatywno gotycko metalowy band z kobietą na wokalu, założony w 2014 roku przez Olly Lex i Andrew Petroffa w Sankt-Petersburgu w Rosji. Posiadają nowy punkt widzenia na współczesną scenę gotycką łączącą w muzyce mocne metalowe riffy z lirycznymi balladami. Fani z USA nazywają ten styl zespołu „New European Metal”. The End of Melancholy występował z takimi zespołami jak Theatres des Vampires, Hanzel und Gretyl, Centhron, Motionless in White. Na początku 2019 roku zespół wydał nowy album „Paradox Intention” i promował to wydawnictwo podczas dwóch europejskich tras koncertowych w 2019 roku (Polska, Litwa, Francja, Czechy, Węgry, Belgia, Szwajcaria).

Place of residence: Parczew, Poland. René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo rule! Although in a way modeled after Kajko and Kokosz), I’ll also add The Witcher and the rest of the fantasy genre... such as Conan, Solomon Kane, or Vuko Drakkainen, and currently Jaksa. Favorite music genres: nihilistic-misanthropic, yet psychedelic offshoots; generally speaking, not far from thrash (I grew up on it), black, folk, pagan, Slavic, Viking, etc.—alternative...
