I have not listened to this type of sounds for a long time… But electronic sounds, if they are given in a dark and atmospheric version, they can quite take possession of me … and the album “Upsidedown Crossroads” of project KLUU from the USA possessed me.

I do not know the whole of oeuvre of this band completely, but the name, the title of the album and of course the music really attract attention… The rhythmic, percussive motifs combined with noise samples and psychedelic guitar tunes have begun this dark journey through mysterious and very gloomy regions…

The structures of the songs are very hypnotic and trance… There are dominating slow and medium paces, created by percussive rhythms enriched with various samples of keyboards, synthesizers, guitars, various electro-machine noises and hums and closer to unidentified sounds which creates a very dark industrial-psychedelic mood…

Delirious melodies in the background or clear melodic lines that sound in the foreground additionally affect the intensity of this mood, sometimes creating a very melancholy atmosphere or even psychotic themes.

Under appropriate conditions, the whole has an interesting effect on an imagination, immersing the listener in a dark tone.

Eraldo Bernocchi and Mark Piotrowski had contribution in several pieces… The surnames are known in certain music circles… In addition, the theme of GODFLESH from the song “Life is Easy” was used in one track… However, some motifs associated me with EZEKHIEL, but .KLLU is more dark…
