If the team had not warned me about their genre of Metal then if I’m seeing the name and the logo of the band and the cover-art I will think about band’s music as Power and Heavy Metal or even Folk Metal. And certainly about not Death Metal… But I think it is a good approach because these details distinguish the band from most Death Metal bands…

AZURICA comes from the beautiful Bavaria, South of Germany. And the adventure of the band began in 2009. However, only in 2013 the band released their first material – four-song EP “Warriors Don’t Die”. And in 2015 the musicians add three new songs to existing tracks, and here we have another EP “Warriors Don’t Die” with seven songs…

Death Metal in realization of AZURICA is referred to as “melodic” and undoubtedly it is right. I can say it is an exemplary Melodic Death Metal… Predatory, heavy and dynamic with a large dose of melody… According to the canons of the genre…

Listening to specifically I noted an interesting work of guitars combined with the sounds of keyboards… The aggressive and sharp riffs and the melodic climatic solos ideally fit with the keyboards passages creating a darkly-folk mood with a very delicate breath of melancholy… And the ominous growling and the strong drum beats give greater power and belligerence to the whole.

AZURICA clearly goes follow the trail such hordes as CEREMONAIL OATH or AT THE GATES.
