Robb Lotta sent the album “Crawling Out of Hell”. Some of you know Robb Lotta from the band – BELLADONNA. At present Robb is the member of American horde FALLEN ANGEL, which has existed from 1983 year supposedly and sows dark stories by help of Speed/Thrash Metal's expression. This is first album of the band, which tells the story. This is the concept album inspired by novel “Fallen Angel – Crawling Out Of Hell” written by guitarist – John Cruppe.

First thing which intrigued me, when I took in my hands the booklet that was the thickness of this booklet. The booklet contains the lyrics and the lots of various graphic arts, the descriptions as well as the illustrations which are connected with the novel. Moreover the photos of the band's members astonished me yet more, because the men (from Speed/Thrash Metal band) incarnated like the heroes of the novel with make-up on their face (in style King Diamond) and with various gadgets… And therefore I played the disc quickly, which had until 20 songs (with short instrumental pieces, very climatic). The tracks sometimes coherently join to avoid superfluous pauses…

The music of FALLEN ANGEL filled a space strongly… The curiously arranged, dynamic and energetic Speed/Thrash Metal appeared from the loudspeakers – with heavy and also melodious guitars and impulsive hoarse or sometimes shrill vocals. This in total sometimes sounded like MERCYFUL FATE… Additionally here is a lot of accents of Heavy Metal, melodious and strong solos, low vocals, backing singers as well as a bit keyboards motifs underlining the dark climate… The balladic accents also appeared on the album. The works have many motifs and are pretty variables rhythmically. And therefore we will hear here energetic, quick and the averages paces as well as slow hits.

As the band from United States – FALLEN ANGEL did not bring shame for American scene of Thrash Metal with the stars like OVERKILL, MEGADETH or ANTHRAX, because FALLEN ANGEL equally is excellent American Thrash Metal band – strong and decided and also melodious as well as first of all very good composed.
