GloryInDecay is the brainchild of John Corpse from Boston, which started as a one man project, but is joined by Keith Christhunter from New York to create pure Death Metal with no comprimise. It seems to me that they've compromised good sounding Death music for pure blast beating growling, doomish crap. Every song starts out with three cymbal beats and goes downhill from there. John Corpse maybe shouldn't compromise other musicians either because adding some might help. All the songs are slow doomish Death with gargling vocals that you can't decipher any clear words out of. Some of the guitar riffs are actually o.k. if they were done in a different setting along with something other than a drum program and a low gutteral sound on the mic. I envy their dedication to Death Metal……..but this is trash.
