This eclectic material was created by French ECLECTIKA which gave the second album under the sign of Asylum Ruins Records! Saying the truth I expected the very variable music outright experimental but I thought more about something from style progressive rock/metal… and… I was surprised very favorably. This is undeniably experimental music and eclectic music… and this is weird that album begins from the end – the song “The End”…

The album began very innocently – that's means – the album have introduced the symphonic motifs full of darkness, melancholy and of pathos. This reminded the accomplishment of ARCANA – calm and majestic melodies with the sounds of mysticism… Suddenly the mad and predatory motifs of black metal patents appeared in style of BURZUM. The music full of fury, of strong aggression but also of melancholy or even of hysterical despair… However the every emotion does not last eternally and this ill-boding state also burned out to again come back into regions of classic music and of symphonic music and even to the regions of dark ambient sounds – of the frightful samples and of the futuristic sounds… And then again happened the return of sharp and dynamic sounds with oscillation among gothic-black metal climates with the domination of wheezing screams and the female operatic vocals in background with sharp guitars riffs, melodious solos and powerful percussive rhythms with keyboards. And the above-mentioned motifs appear cyclically and this sometimes is very shocking (in positive meaning).

The album is very diverse thematically, surprising and portrays the different point of view of music. This is the interesting connection of raw black metal, gothic metal with classic music, symphonic music and dark ambient with noise music. Something mysterious is here, maybe it even is from borderland of psychosis or of mysticism… The whole is very dark, sometimes depressive and pessimistic but it also is aggressive… I noticed that Frenchmen have tendencies to avant-garde mixing of different musical styles – e.g. ELEND, PENSEES NOCTURNES and also ECLECTIKA.
