The band name would seem suitable. They don’t really have any concepts of their own so they’ll just replicate others. Not really else much to say hear as there is only one track. OUR DYING CONCEPT are a metal band from Peterborough in the UK. They have only been going for just over a year and in that time have supported EXIT TEN, DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL, BURY YOUR DEAD and BOSSK. This is basically just a demo in preparation for an album planned for release in spring 2008. The death of an age follows the style of bands like UNEARTH and AS I LAY DYING. I can’t say it does much for me; I don’t like these modern hardcore vocalists much. The music just blurs into every other band trying to do this style currently. It is not they are doing it any worse than any other band doing this style. It’s just that I don’t care about having another band copying UNEARTH or whoever they choose to copy. This is only one track though. The band has more influences listed than those that show through with this album so it is possible that they may come up with more interesting music given a full length album.
