Until Death Overtakes Me (U.D.O.M.) is a band from Belgium and this is the very first time I meet them although they have 4 previous releases. It is actually an one-man's band. Their name comes from the song “Black God” of My Dying Bride. This album contains 3 songs of theirs, an intro and “Marche Funebre” as an outro and its duration is approximately 68 minutes! The band describes its music as ambient funeral doom music. I think they have many ambient parts and if you like the latest releases of Burzum then you will find a perfect album here. Doom… I do not know. I think they are most ambient and yes, they have some doom metal parts. Personally I did not like it that much and this may happened because I am not in the mood for such melancholy and grief this time. I do not know. Recommended only to ambient fans. All the others try to listen to it before buying.
