This time, let’s start with the band’s introduction. SHADOW REBELS is a progressive rock Israeli male band and their third fourteen-track album “On the Ride”.

The men, having previous experience, decided to record another album unusually. As I read somewhere in the virtual world, they approached the recording of the new album in the most grunge style. This time, they only needed a recorder in the studio and in this way, track by track, together, in one day, they recorded the album in the 21st century.

The subject matter of the songs and their characters experience the difficulties of the present age, in which we all live. The texts are a message of a fleeting life, in which various topics intertwine, from faith to its loss, from enemies to friends, and finally about hope and lack of it in the place of earthly existence, contemplation and reflection in the perspective of the 21st century. This is the domain of the songs. I think it is worth considering and studying these matters to stop for a moment and analyze a life, in which there is no time for everything.

Delving into the subject matter, time will be filled with Post-Grunge music, in which in addition to fast guitar riffs accompanied balladic notes. You will hear a wide range of sounds from Rock, Blues, Reggae to Jazz Fusion. And oriental sounds complement the guitars complemented by good, clear bass. Technically harmonious, which is confirmed by the expressive sounds of the instruments, you can clearly hear each instrument, which only makes their songs more vivid.

Screaming and singing but clear vocals are the proverbial icing on the cake.

Everything is perfect. I can confidently say, this is definitely a varied Post-Grunge sound for fans of NIRVANA, DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN, SOUNDGARDEN or SOFT MACHINE.

So let’s admire those who do not lack willingness and who find time to fulfill themselves and do something for others. And in the 21st century it is difficult, because we rush, and at the end of our lives we realize that we have left nothing behind.

SHADOW REBELS is a band that is already have their works and I hope they will continue to do. It is worth reaching for them to mention and remember the times of Progressive Rock from the 70s and Grunge from the 90s. These men are realizing themselves, we can also too…
