The material of KAJE coming from USA (and concretely from New York) and includes four pieces. In principle the contained music in these pieces is difficult to classifying … The first tune “Bitter Crop” pushes me association with funk metal – in Poland funk metal is very little well-known and little popular kind of metal. For explanation I add funk metal is characterizes with complex parties of bass guitar and very and characteristic “lively” or sometimes “broken” rhythm. In principle except of FAITH NO MORE, MORDRED, LIVING COLOUR or PRIMUS I don't know playing of funk metal. So my inquiries can be wrong. Anyway on KAJE the bass really is very important, mixing various the clang of accents, syncopations or also passages and harmonies of bassgiutar, underlining often “broken” rhythm. Meanwhile the guitars smell of stoner metal or also hard rock climates sometimes catching in progressive moods. There are quite a lot guitar harmonies, passages and just those motives of funk music. The emerges melodies of guitars with fuzz produces the lightly psychedelic “stoner” or hard rock of climate . The tempo of songs is well-kept in average pace, although the strongly complex work of drums with one's passages, accents and “broken rhythms” diversifies the pace. Sometimes some phrases remind me BLACK SABBATH, ROLLINS BAND or else DANZIG, what special express similar in sound to Glen Danzig or Henry Rollins vocal. Sometimes I seem the vocalist uses similar vocal mannerisms like Glen or Henry. Generally I accept the material as nice and gentle for ear, what does not mean that there aren't typical heavy metal guitars. There now decidedly KAJE more will undergird the less orthodox fans of metal.
