RUNAMOK „Back for revenge”

RUNAMOK „Back for revenge” - okładka

Wow – chained I am sitting here and don´t think of anything evil… Then I am getting shook by that „thing“ of guitar work. This “thing” is called “Mother Earth” and the first song of RUNAMOK´s first album „Back for revenge“. With a mixture of thrash and speed metal the rest of the songs are killers. The „vocals“ are a shouting style of heaviness. Forwarded drums with speedy guitars, underlined with pumping basses and simple vocallines.

Sometimes Mr. Schwarz (Stormwitch), he is also the singer and guitarist, reminds me a bit on the young James Hetfield in Metallica. A few influences of Annihilator and old Megadeth cannot be thrown away. The total view is as follows: Pretty dry, Runamok have made a real good impression.

After all that battles, Runamok get calmer with „Deliverance“.

With the cover version of Mötley Crüe´s „Looks that kill“, the four Germans took a little grab in the toilet. I already heard that from Pink Cream 69, but better.
