Total Devastation is a new band from Finland and “Roadmap Of Pain” is their debut album. Having released 5 demos from 1998 to 2002 they managed to sign a contact with Firebox records. Ten songs of intense, aggressive and modern death metal. The opening track reminded me a lot of Fear Factory. This is the style they are into. With a great rhythm section and a very good singer Total Devastation approach death metal from a different point of view. The production is excellent ( at Finnvox studios ) and this album is a strong suggestion to all death metal fans and not only. I believe every metal fan will find this album at least interesting.
