Hate is example of band, which with every new release is consequently playing the same extreme death metal, but with some new fresh ideas and visions. All their albums are similar, but at the same time there’s no way to say that they are identical. By the previous great release, “Awakening of the liar”, group has come to brand new quality of murdering death metal, extreme in all possible ways. The new album is continuation of it, but it explore some new areas, and seems to be almost revolution in Hate’s style. But we don’t need to afraid, this revolution brings only good things into music. Before the work on Anaclasis has been done, I was wandering how the new face of Hate will be look. And now, when album is already released I’m sure, it couldn’t be other, and better. It is of course still very characteristic death metal, very fast, but maybe not so dense all the time. It have some more slowdowns and changes of tempos, it’s more complex when compare it to the previous releases. Now there is more variety of guitar’s texture style, music is more interesting. I think, for band, it was main point to focus on arrangements rather than only extremity. And other important fact, is appearing of samples, and synthetic backgrounds. It was great idea, all this sick screams, whispers and other strange sounds, are helping to build incredible climate. The effect is very unique, and I can’t say that heard any band playing death metal in very similar way, and this is very big advantage. There’s no problem with listening all album, and at the and turning on “play” once again.
Production of album is really well done. Maybe not so smashing as it was with Awakening…, but more clear. All instruments are well heard, balanced, and of course heavy. Vocals are amazing, great growling, very deep and natural. Guitars are producing many of strange and dangerous riffs, and drums are absolutely devastating. I  think Hellrizer is one of the best drummer I heard ever, his style of playing is very impressive, and there’s no matter is it fast or more slow moment. The only one thing is for me incomplete. Luck of those great solos that we know from the past. On the new album there is definitely not enough those climatic hellish guitars parts, and that is real shame. And of course duration time could be been a little longer, but as we know, it’s not depend from us, but the band and their inspirations. Anyway, it’s great album, and I recommend it to anyone who like solid extreme death metal with fresh, interesting ideas.
