FROM THE INSIDE „s/t, featuring Danny Vaughn”

FROM THE INSIDE „s/t, featuring Danny Vaughn” - okładka

Okay, to be honest, I have never been so busy with reviewing an album like that… That´s why it took a longer time. I don´t know, how often I listened to that disc, but I can tell you: It was often! Nevertheless I can tell spontanously: Somehow there is no real fire. First of all I didn´t get it that the band (?) is called “From the inside”. Because I always thought that was the title of the album. It is, anyway. In any case, I got it that Danny Vaughn is on vocals. But I have to confess: Ehrm, wo is that? Okay, I just searched a bit and found out: The 43 year old American already sang for Tyketto and Vaughn (what a surprise! J).

Well, as I said, I listened to that plate more often and want to tell you that: The first song “Nothing at all” (the clip of that song is on the album as well, that is said in the info, but I couldn´t find it anywhere, as well as the interview) is very good. Melodic rock at its best. I like to listen to that kind of rock. And also the second song “Suddenly” is very melodic and mutates to an everlasting melody. Worse J No, just kidding. And “Fight for love” is a song, you can´t get out of your mind anymore. But the chorus of song No. 4 (“Losing game”) has got a very similarity to the song of the German Star Search 2 winner Martin Kesici! Wow, who of the both stole?! I hope, it was Kesici who stole. Just not possible, if you look at the release dates of both songs. But it could have been…J

“Damn”, “Stop” and “Relentless”, as well as “Blessing in disguise” convince with some faster playing. In the opposite “Is anybody watching me” takes away the quickness a bit. “Always” rocks. And „Beautiful goodbye“ is a semi-ballad with a 6/8 beat, which really is a beautiful goodbye.
This disc comes to life with the teamwork of singer Danny Vaughn and the rest of the musicians in the proportion of 2:3.
Well, this is actually no review at all, I guessed it will be. Much better than I thought J That´s why I wanna tell you: Friends of Crystal Ball and Shylock, please lend an ear to that!
