The band was formed in Barcelona in 2009. In the years 2009-2013 they acted as BUSTIN’OUT, they released only one EP. After changing the name to BLAZE OUT, two full-length albums were released: “Headshot” in 2013 and “Backlash” in 2016.
The latest work of the Spaniards from 2019 also has a one-word title. The music from “Instinct” is primarily an aggressive and melodic groove-metal with a heavy-metal admixture. There are many fragments and climatic intros, and there are also references to hard rock.
The songs were composed very successfully. The skills of instrumentalists are high, especially of the lead guitarist and the drummer. These two musicians work great together. The rhythm section also plays very interesting. The vocalist sings only correctly as for this class of band, although in a quite varied way. He is supported by perfectly arranged backing vocals. The music is very dynamic and hit (having at the same time an element of heaviness), exploiting very good mastery of the instruments and a sense of the melody of the fiery Spaniards.
Each member of the team adds something from himself, creating a coordinated whole captivating the listener with their power and energy. BLAZE OUT with such repertoire is definitely perfect for concerts, the audience must go crazy. Despite the melody, I would describe the created mood as pessimistic. However, the sounds are played extraordinarily natural and fresh. In addition, the Spanish quartet has an individual style, it is outstanding from a flood of thousands of records. It is worth to appreciate this band and listen to it often in 2020.
