Just I am listening to BROKEN RAIN because I would briefly introduce you the band and their creativity. I am glad that this time I present a band from Slovakia, which was formed in 2006. At that time they began playing covers of such groups like BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN or JUDAS PRIEST. In 2009 the demo was made with cover-songs and three original songs of the band. An interesting fact is that in 2011 the band was the support of the legend of the British music scene URIAH HEEP in Slovakia.
And finally in 2015 the band added debut album “Here Comes The Pain” for his musical output. I would not be myself if I did not mention what things are in the album. And so, 12 tracks dressed in a carefully released an booklet containing the lyrics and photos of band. The whole is originally packaged in an enlarged version of the CD box, a format similar to the A5. It certainly leads to better the reception of the team.
On the music side BROKEN RAIN is the male band, which I gladly listened. The songs are not shouted but are sung and catchy. The vocals complement themselves but the majority are the heavy metal singings. From the technical side, nothing more nothing less. The musicians are well-prepared. They apparently are confident in what they do and they do it professionally. In my oppinion it is heavy metal music with elements of hard rock. I found there similarity to such iconic bands like IRON MAIDEN and HELLOWEEN, of course if I have thought about heavy metal. And what they have common with hard rock… The characteristic combination of the guitars with the keyboards for this genre, that remind me e.g. DEEP PURPLE.
It is really interesting team, as well as the album of songs, which they will not bore you but they will encourage re-listen. The surprising introductions to songs or the insertions in the form of a strong vocals make BROKEN RAIN will remain a long in the memory and will make regret that there is the end of album. But the end of album don’t make me sad, because I have the opportunity to listen to everything from the beginning and I will do it… I recommend you the music, because you could rate personally and you will be convinced as I was convinced that BROKEN RAIN is alive…
