The founder of DENNERS TRICKBAG is Michael Denner the former guitarist and songwriter of MERCYFUL FATE and KING DIAMOND. For many years, Michael had wanted to create a band whose music will be in the style of all Heavy Metal albums in possession of Michael. He also looking for people who will share his passion for Hard Rock and Progressive bands from the 70's. And he met old friends and also both professional musicians. And so, in 2012 was born DENNERS TRICKBAG.
There's no conceal that music from the album has imprints the fascinations of musicians – Hard Rock and Blues Rock from the 70's and of course – Heavy Metal – from the early years of its existence. The compositions are arranged in the twenty-first century but they make old climate, typical of those years… The sharp and feisty guitar's riffs enriched by the specific solos with the the interesting rhythm section invite the listener to retro-journey – to the 70's and early 80's. And the specific singing of Berthel (Rock and melodic at the same time – included in the high tones) guides the listener through the world of the old Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.
Some compositions give sharp Rock the dynamic and fast riffs, insane solos, vocal flusters and strong beats of the drums – typical for Heavy Metal. But the other songs bring calmer Blues-Rock or Hard Rock atmosphere – a bit psychedelic, more melodic, but still with a sharp claw. Besides of the virtuoso guitar licks you will listen the good work of bass with ideal cooperation with the interesting drums.
The album is very mature. Many themes can be correlated with LED ZEPPELIN and MERCYFUL FATE.
