I had not split-cd in hands from long time and surely with punk-hardcore music. Though Punk Rock never belonged to my music (with some excepts) but Hardcore from 80/90th years (mainly from the USA) sharply has stirred my mind.

ONE DAY RISE began the first part of the split-cd – Polish metal-core band, which presented 5 Polish compositions in pretty classic way. Though at present I don't know which Hardcore is classic (because I do not follow this genre). Anyway their music is aggressive mix of patents of hardcore-metal full pretty the fast and dynamic guitar-percussive subjects with aggressive shouting vocal (sometimes hysterical), which belongs for woman. And I have to avow, that her scream is really strong. The works are very aggressive and rebellious, this is typical for character of the music. Generally their music is pretty raw, uncompromising, without the solos and soft insertions. The single somewhat slower and melancholy accent appears in the last track of ONE DAY RISE… However the songs went by so quickly, that I didn't hear their for one time… so I had to come back several times…

French THE BORING filled the second half of the disc. From announcement I knew, that it will be Hardcore/Punk and this caused somewhat embarrassment. I waited for something too simple as for me. And pleasantly I was surprised here. Though my experience with Punk Rock is small but the compositions of THE BORING appeared quite nice… The music was fast, lively and despite simplicity of Punk it was more compiled than hardcore-metal ONE DAY RISE… Melodious solos but also pugnacious solos appeared among energetic, impulsive riffs, among which the loud shout sounded (supported by emphasizing choirs). Their music is very pleasant (despite their aggressiveness) and is easy in perception, it loads batteries… This is something in style of THE EXPLOITED and G. B. H…. The created mood of THE BORING is first of all rebellious and dysphoric, although presented melodies and some vocals send the bit of melancholy tone.

In this battle – THE BORING won with no doubt, and I expected opposite result. Generally the whole is very energetic and gives a quite good kick…
